Are you a new player who’s interested in getting into the IACP skirmish scene or maybe someone who’s been playing for a few months but would like to play against someone closer to your experience level? The IACP Beginner Skirmish League, formerly known as the Jedi Trials in past seasons, is a great opportunity for you to schedule weekly games against opponents who are at a similar experience and skill level to you. You can jump into the League at any time even after its started, and once all players in the league have played against a different opponent, we’ll restart it over again.
This is a Vassal League for new players to Imperial Assault skirmish or returning players who are relatively new to the IACP format of IA skirmish. Vassal is the free 2D software that the IA Community uses to play the Skrimish game online against one another. If you are a veteran player that’s been playing IACP skirmish for more than 1 season, consider joining our more competitive general league or monthly free tournaments.

The matches will be paired on a Monday as soon as there are 4 or more participants registered, and new pairings will be made each Monday.
This league is absolutely free to join and there are no prizes on the line. This is a great way to get some practice in against players who are closer to you in skill level before you play more competitive games against the vets. You are allowed to play in the competitive events and still play in the beginner league if you are new to skirmish or IACP, please use your own best judgment about your skill level.
This league will be run in a weekly round robin format, meaning it will keep going until players have played every other player in the league. Players are welcome to join the league midway through even if previous rounds have already been paired. Once it’s no longer possible for a players to be paired up with an opponent they haven’t already played before, we’ll end the current league and start a new beginner’s league.
