System Shock: Your Feedback About Future Card Testing & Development

In mid-April, the Steering Committee added several questions to the Season 3 Playtest Survey to allow you to weigh-in on several potential changes that could be made during Playtest Season 4. The overall participation of the community was more limited than we had hoped — we thought that adding the questions to the Playtest Survey might increase participation, but perhaps we made it more difficult by asking you all to both fill out those questions and provide Season 3 testing feedback. Sorry about that.

We’ll share the data that we collected from those of you who did submit your feedback. This data also includes submissions from members of the Steering Committee.

For the most part, your feedback reaffirmed most of what the committee thought would be true: The IACP Community generally disapproves banning or nerfing cards, and the community also disapproves trying to change how Zillo Technique & the Focus condition works. Some of these questions were answered based on an “approve/disapprove” scale: Below you will see a table that lists these results. In these “approve/disapprove” questions, there is not one answer that reached over 50% of respondents who selected “approve” or “strongly approve”.

When listing cards that the community would like to see added to the game, most suggestions congregated around Rogue One and The Mandalorian. The cards the community suggested that should be changes also fit the usual suspects: Bossk, Trandoshan Hunter (Elite), Clone Wars, Legends characters like Mara Jade, etc. For the Season 3 Community Vote (which will be starting this week), we’re adding some of these to the Community Suggestions section, so that we all can vote on the ones that the Committee should prioritize in future Seasons.
